According to Football Insider, Ademola Ola-Adebomi does not have a future at Crystal Palace beyond the summer, with the club ready to sell the 21-year-old homegrown player. There are some EFL clubs interested in signing the attacking prospect, who has been shining for the Eagles’ Premier League 2 sides.
Crystal Palace are set to decide on 21-year-old homegrown player Ademola Ola-Adebomi and have plans to sell him in the summer. The left-footed striker, who has had decent spells on loan away from the club has also shined for the Eagles’ Premier League 2 side, which could attract interest in his services.
Last summer, he was sent out on loan to Belgian second division side SK Beveren, where he played eight times without finding the net or assisting his teammates. Crystal Palace were poised to recall him from that loan spell, and once they did, he has been featuring heavily for their Premier League 2 side.
He has since scored nine times in ten Premier League 2 games, which has asserted the feeling that Palace could have a market for the 21-year-old homegrown player. The report states EFL clubs might show an interest, with the player now ready to be shipped out permanently as he enters the final year of his deal with the club.
Crystal Palace set for a key summer window
Crystal Palace have a few key tasks on their hands, with the priority for the club being to sort out the future of Oliver Glasner as talks are planned with the manager amid interest from elsewhere. There are some decisions on their squad too, as they want to keep key man Eberechi Eze as he enters the final two years of his deal and has a big list of suitors chasing for his signature.
There are also concerns with Jean-Philippe Mateta, with some big interest in the striker ahead of the summer. Crystal Palace are also expected to decide on Marc Guehi’s future, as the key defender and skipper enters the final year of his deal at the club.
