Pacers Star Reveals Honest Thoughts on Myles Turner’s Exit

Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton has shared his candid feelings about the departure of longtime teammate Myles Turner, who recently joined the Milwaukee Bucks. Speaking with reporters, Haliburton made it clear that while losing Turner is bittersweet, there’s no bad blood between them.

“I’m happy for the man,” Haliburton said, acknowledging the business side of the NBA. “You want to see dudes get paid, you want to see guys take care of their families. I don’t hold a grudge.”

Haliburton reflected on the bond they built during their time together in Indiana, calling Turner “a guy I got to play alongside for a long time” and noting the strong relationship they developed both on and off the court.

Still, the competitive side of Haliburton couldn’t hide his mixed emotions. “I don’t want to see him in Milwaukee,” he admitted. “But it is what it is. There will be smoke when we see them… it’s basketball, it’s a competition, but it’s still love.”

Turner’s exit marks the end of an era for the Pacers’ frontcourt, but Haliburton’s remarks reflect both respect for a friend and motivation to compete when they face each other in the future.
