GOOD NEWS: Jannik Sinner offers to take care of a poor boy he met who couldn’t afford a tennis racket as he gives him scholarship and vows to look after him till he turns an adult.

‎“This is bigger than tennis,” Sinner reportedly said. “Everyone deserves a chance, and if I can give that to someone who needs it, then I’m doing something right with the platform I’ve been given.”

‎According to reports, Sinner encountered the boy during a community outreach event in Italy. The child, whose identity has been kept private for safety reasons, caught Sinner’s attention not with a serve or a forehand—but with a heartbreaking story. The boy shared his dream of becoming a tennis player but confessed that his family couldn’t even afford a second-hand racket.

‎

‎Deeply moved, Sinner didn’t hesitate to act. The 23-year-old champion arranged for the boy to receive a full scholarship to a tennis academy, covering everything from coaching to equipment, nutrition, and school fees. More than that, Sinner personally vowed to look after the child’s growth both on and off the court until he turns 18.

‎

‎“This is bigger than tennis,” Sinner reportedly said. “Everyone deserves a chance, and if I can give that to someone who needs it, then I’m doing something right with the platform I’ve been given.”

‎

‎Sinner’s team has confirmed that the scholarship will not only cover sports training but also academic support, mentorship, and regular check-ins from Sinner himself. The gesture has sparked a wave of admiration from fans, with social media filled with praise for the Italian star’s humility and humanity.

‎

‎While many athletes donate to charities or foundations, Sinner’s personal involvement and commitment to this young boy stands out. He’s not just writing a check—he’s stepping into the boy’s life as a mentor and supporter, a big brother figure determined to change the course of someone’s future.

‎

‎For Jannik Sinner, who continues to climb the ranks of professional tennis, this act proves that true greatness isn’t just measured by Grand Slams, but by the lives we touch along the way.
