Netflix has announced a groundbreaking new documentary titled “Take It to the Limit: The Eagles Story” — a deep dive into the legendary journey of one of the most iconic rock bands in American music history. Scheduled for a global release this fall, the documentary promises never-before-seen footage, intimate interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments chronicling the rise, fall, and lasting legacy of The Eagles.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1971, The Eagles — consisting originally of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner — skyrocketed to stardom with their signature blend of rock, country, and harmony-rich sound. With timeless classics like “Hotel California,” “Desperado,” and “Take It Easy,” the band became the soundtrack of a generation.
Executive produced by award-winning filmmaker Ava Delaney, the Netflix Original is said to pull back the curtain on the complex personal dynamics and the creative genius that drove the band to produce one of the best-selling albums of all time.
