What Church Leaders Are Speaking at 2025 BYU Education Week?
The 2025 BYU Education Week will be held from Monday, Aug. 18, through Friday, Aug. 22, offering thousands of participants a week of classes, devotionals, and workshops designed to inspire lifelong learning.
A highlight of the week will be the Tuesday devotional featuring Elder Gerrit W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elder Gong, known for his warm storytelling and emphasis on faith, service, and Christlike love, is expected to address a capacity crowd in the Marriott Center.
Education Week traditionally includes presentations from Church leaders, BYU faculty, and guest speakers on topics ranging from scripture study and gospel living to family life, education, and personal development. The complete list of Church leaders speaking at this year’s event is expected to be released by BYU in the coming weeks.
First held in 1922, BYU Education Week has become one of the largest continuing education programs of its kind, drawing attendees of all ages from across the United States and beyond.
