BREAKING: Arkansas Razorbacks QB Taylen Green Launches “A Hope Rising Foundation” to Uplift Children with Disabilities — Providing Free Healthcare, Basic Needs, and Endless Love Across Arkansas
Fayetteville, Arkansas — July 6, 2025
In an awe-inspiring act of compassion and purpose, Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback Taylen Green has launched the “A Hope Rising Foundation,” a transformative nonprofit initiative dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities throughout the state of Arkansas.
While Taylen Green is best known for his cannon arm, electrifying speed, and on-field leadership, today he’s being celebrated for something far greater — his heart.
> “I’ve been given a platform, and it’s my duty to use it for something bigger than football,” Green said during an emotional press conference at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. “This foundation is my promise — to give hope, healing, and dignity to every child who’s ever felt forgotten.”
A Mission Rooted in Love
Inspired by his younger cousin, Noah — who was born with spina bifida and faced a lifetime of medical struggles — Green founded A Hope Rising Foundation to ensure that no child with a disability is left behind, especially in rural and underserved communities across Arkansas.
The foundation’s mission includes:
Free healthcare access, including surgeries, therapy, and adaptive equipment
Essential support such as food, clothing, hygiene kits, and educational supplies
Mental health counseling for children and families
Community centers and inclusive play zones for social development and connection
Year-round mentorship and sports clinics for children with special needs
Green has pledged 100% of his NIL earnings, along with fundraising proceeds from future merchandise sales and events, to fuel the initiative.
> “This is about showing these kids they matter. That they are seen. That they are LOVED — fully, freely, and fiercely,” Green said, holding back tears.
Razorback Nation Reacts
The announcement sparked an overwhelming wave of support from Razorback Nation. Fans, teammates, alumni, and families filled social media with words like “angel,” “warrior of the heart,” and “the true MVP of Arkansas.”
Head Coach Sam Pittman called Green’s move “the most selfless and inspiring act I’ve seen in my coaching career.”
> “Taylen is a leader of men — not just in the huddle, but in life. This is what real legacy looks like,” Pittman said.
National Spotlight and NFL Support
NFL stars including Patrick Mahomes, J.J. Watt, and former Razorback Hunter Henry shared Green’s story across platforms, with Mahomes tweeting:
> “This is bigger than football. Taylen Green — you’ve got my respect. A real one.”
The SEC Network and ESPN are already planning a feature documentary on A Hope Rising Foundation and the lives it’s beginning to touch.
The Legacy Begins
As Green prepares to lead the Razorbacks into what promises to be a thrilling season, it’s clear that his most lasting victories may come off the field.
> “Trophies gather dust. But love — the kind that lifts others up — that lasts forever,” Green said. “If even one child smiles because of this, then I’ve already won.”
