The initiative, titled “Shelter First,” will be operated in partnership with United Housing Works, a national nonprofit focused on sustainable housing and support services.
“This sport has given me more than I ever dreamed,” Blaney said during the press conference. “Now it’s my turn to do something meaningful with that success—to make sure others have a place to call home.”
‘Shelter First’ Initiative Goals
- Build transitional and long-term housing
- Offer job training and career placement support
- Provide mental health, addiction recovery, and childcare services
- Focus on underserved regions in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia

Blaney’s contribution adds to his growing legacy off the track. Known for his advocacy around mental health awareness, Blaney continues to expand his philanthropic efforts through the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation.
“This isn’t the end—this is the beginning of a larger mission,” Blaney said. “We talk about making an impact in racing, but making an impact in someone’s life? That’s the real win.”
